About

My name is Patrick, and Tinskin is a web journal/magazine/portfolio for my creative brand, business and organizational philosophies, and everything related to digital products that I’m familiar with. By education, I’m a Graphic and Web Designer, Business Marketer and Web Applications Developer. I have a wide array of experiences since finishing up a pair of bachelor degrees, which includes building a business from scratch (and lastings years after I left). I can confidently say that I know what it takes for a small business to succeed, and think it’s time to put this knowledge somewhere. Hopefully, my insight can help someone in need of answers on modern business.

I’ve had so many interests over my life, and never stopped learning new things after finishing at colleges. Being passionate about a variety of things has been good overall, but many of those skills are unused, and decided to compartmentalize them on the interwebs. One of them is mixing music as an amateur DJ, under the alias dj.WYSIWYG.

History of Tinskin

I was supposed to start a business organization with a close friend/cousin of mine, Krystine, who passed away in 2006 at the young age of 25. There are many things to say about her, but for this website’s purpose, she remains to be one of the most creative people I’ve known to this day. Tinskin was one of the few names that was thrown around; we’ll never know what could’ve been. Years later, it still weighs on my mind. And with life’s curveballs, this approach seemed to be the next best alternative. Here’s to you, Tin.
